After years of uncertainty, scientists discover the clouds of mysterious dust
Hungarian astronomers have been able to observe two mysterious clouds of dust just 400,000 kilometers from Earth, many years after researchers questioned the existence of the clouds.
The clouds were first spotted by Polish astronomer Kazimierz Kordelowski in 1961, and the debate continues decades later about their existence, according to the Daily Mail.
Researchers at a European country observatory said they could detect the two mysterious clouds already in two semi-stable points, which form a triangle with Earth and the Moon.
They pointed out that they had spotted the clouds, called Cordy Leusky, using a sophisticated filter system, an advanced camera and a CCD sensor inside the observatory.
