British fighter intercepts "Russian bombers"

British sources said Wednesday that the British Air Force sent fighter jets to intercept Russian bombers.
According to the sources, the intercept occurred after the bombers approached British airspace.

This is not the first time British aircraft intercept Russian fighter jets. In September, a British source said British and French fighter jets had been sent to the North Sea because of fears that Russian planes would enter British airspace.

In August, two British fighter jets from eastern Romania to the Black Sea intercepted two Russian S-30 aircraft.
