Detection of the attack port of the Jewish temple in Pennsylvania
Two officials, one working on the security of the Jewish community and the other a law enforcement agency, revealed the identity of the attacker at the Jewish synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The suspects said the suspect was a 46-year-old US citizen named Robert Bowers who had published anti-Semitic messages on social networking sites.
Although the authorities did not officially announce the name of the person who detained him after the incident, which killed at least 11 people, the officials confirmed Bowers' identity.
Two hours before he stormed the temple during Sabbath prayers, Bowers attacked the Hebrew Association for the Assistance of Immigrants (HIAAS) on the GAP social networking site.
I can not sit and I see our people being slaughtered, "Bowers wrote on the site.
The GAP website said in a statement that once the suspect had written on the site, he took "prompt and proactive" action and immediately contacted law enforcement.
Previous accounts of the suspect on the GAP website, which he joined in January, showed that Powers appeared to be an angry and anti-Semitic person.
About a month ago Bowers published pictures of him practicing shooting and a set of three pistols he called his Glock family. The name Glock is a type of revolver.
