Dubai hosts the world's largest book fair

Dubai will host a huge book fair at its first stop in the Middle East to fill a huge three-million-dollar gallery in the emirate, which is offered 24 hours a day, at discounted prices.
The Big Bad Wolf Book Fair was launched in Kuala Lumpur in 2009 and has visited many Asian cities since then, including Jakarta, Manila, Cebu, Colombo, Bangkok and Taipei.

Organizers of the exhibition, the world's largest book fair, hope to attract 300,000 visitors during its 11-day event in Dubai.

"In a mature market like Dubai, this will allow readers to diversify," said Andrew Yap, the founder of the show, as saying.
