18 people were killed on Saturday, and others were injured by a collision between a military truck and a minibus in northern Ethiopia, according to local reports.
The incident took place in the Amhara state, AFP quoted government television as saying.
Although the proportion of car ownership in Ethiopia is among the lowest in the world, but the country is experiencing many traffic accidents, often caused by poor road conditions.
Official statistics indicate that more than 4,500 people were killed in Ethiopia between July 2017 and the same month of this year, according to the agency.
