Liverpool sympathizes with flood victims in Jordan

Liverpool has expressed its condolences to the victims of floods in Jordan, which killed at least 21 people and wounded dozens.
"All our thoughts and sincere condolences to all those affected by the floods in Jordan will never go alone," the club said in a tweet on its official Twitter account.

At least 21 people were killed and dozens injured, mostly children, in Seoul hit an area near the Dead Sea, where the water washed away a bus for a school trip.

Jordan's King Abdullah II stressed the need for a report to determine exactly what happened in the Dead Sea incident and to work transparently to determine who bears responsibility for it.

"What happened yesterday (Thursday) was a great tragedy that hurt all of us as Jordanians," the king said. "God is merciful to the dead and tells us, and the deepest condolences and condolences to the families of the deceased.

He continued: "What has affected the hearts of all Jordanians, and the hearts of people in the region and the world, who expressed their solidarity with Jordan in this painful patient."
