Ronaldo scored .. And the "ideal" Juventus stop

Genoa ended Juventus' perfect start in the Serie A after a 1-1 draw on Saturday in coach Ivan Uric's return.
The Croatian coach took over for Davide Balardini for the third time before stopping for international matches and left his mark immediately, as the defending champion failed to record a record of winning the first nine league games.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Juventus a deserved lead in the first half, but the modest defense from the owner gave Daniel Pisa the opportunity to draw a second-half equalizer with a header to stop Juventus' winning streak in 10 games in all competitions.

Ronaldo almost opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a header after Juan Quadrado's cross, but the ball hit the post.

The Portuguese striker hit the net five minutes later, as Genoa failed to keep the ball away after João Cansillo's shot changed direction.

The atmosphere at Allianz Arena was modest after racist cheers in the Napoli match opened the southern runway to schoolchildren only.

Kisechtev beat Bayanetik, the tournament's top scorer with nine goals, goalkeeper Vojciech Stinskii and then put a ball in the head with the goal as the visitors improved in the second half and equalized through Pisa in the 68th minute.

Ronaldo, Miramar Pianic and substitute Paolo Debala got chances, but Uric's team held to an unexpected point.

Earlier on Saturday, Roma lost 2-0 at home to Spal, thanks to Andrea Petania's penalty kick and Kevin Bonavaczi, leaving the team in sixth place 11 points behind Juventus.
