Salah returns to scoring memory .. with a new record
Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah returned to the scoring memory again, scoring his winning goal against Huddersfield in the ninth round of the Premier League.
Salah scored Liverpool's first goal in the 39th minute from a corner pass from Hakan Shakiri and put the Egyptian star in one touch to the right of Huddersfield goalkeeper.
Salah's goal against Huddersfield is his first away from Anfield, the Reds stronghold this season, and goal 50 with Liverpool in all competitions since joining the team in a new record for the Egyptian star.
Huddersfield fought and almost equalized with a shot from a distance from Jonathan Hogg to hit the post before Felipe Pilling hit a free-kick from close range and the ball went away, and Huddersfield demanded a penalty for a touch from James Milner, but the referee refused to count.
Huddersfield fans thought their team had scored their first home goal in six months after Alex Pritchard broke a high ball to head it past goalkeeper Allison before the break, but the referee counted it off.
The homeowner's pressure was somewhat reduced with the start of the second half, although Steve Mony had a chance less than 10 minutes from the end when the ball hit him in the penalty area, but Mon kept it on the crossbar from close range.
