Smoking and fertility .. A shocking study affecting children and grandchildren

When a man becomes addicted to smoking cigarettes, he not only harms his health but also harms entire generations of his unborn children and grandchildren, according to a recent US study of male fertility.
The study, conducted at the University of Florida, revealed that a person who smokes affects not only those who sit next to him and breathe in smoke.

This research is a shocking conclusion. The prevailing belief that smoking the mother is the only effect is not accurate.

The researchers found that smoking significantly affects semen in men, and because of this damage, children and grandchildren suffer problems in cognitive functions of the brain as well as behavioral disorders.

"It's time to correct ideas that focus solely on women's smoking," says Pradeep Haid, a study supervisor.

The researchers argue that their findings still need further studies until new features emerge from this complex health problem.

Researchers in several developed countries warn of a decline in sperm fertility in men due to bad habits such as unhealthy food, smoking and stress.

The experiment was based on a sample of 12 mice. The researchers gave water containing nicotine to these animals during the semen production period. Later, these males were taken to the female rats until the reproductive process was performed.

The results showed that small rats that received nicotine had a movement disorder, unlike mice born from males who had not received any such dose.
