The investigation of the Leicester incident may last for days
Leicester police said Sunday that investigations into a helicopter crash outside the Leicester stadium are expected to continue in the coming days.
"Police, paramedics, fire brigade and civil protection in Leicester responded to the situation at the time of the incident last night and the investigation is continuing today under the command of the Aviation Accident Investigation Unit," police said in a statement.
"Once the details of the incident can be ascertained, it will be revealed."
There were frequent questions about the delay in any details about the helicopter crash, which crashed Saturday evening near the club's "King Power" stadium.
The source said the owner of Leicester City, Vicki Srivadhanabraba, and his daughter were among the five people aboard the helicopter, which crashed, according to Reuters.
A few minutes after taking off, the owner's plane crashed into the parking lot and turned into a ball of fire on Saturday after a Premier League match between Leicester and West Ham.
