The World Travel Market in London, which will kick off next month, will host a special session entitled "Expo Dubai 2020: Responsibility for Environmental Impacts in the Water and Energy Sector", with the participation of the First Vice President for Trade Affairs at Expo Gillian Hamburger to highlight Dubai's preparations to host The largest exhibition of its kind in the world, which is the most sustainable exhibition in history. The organizers of Dubai Expo will review Dubai's efforts to promote sustainable sustainability practices that will inspire future generations.
The participants in the exhibition include the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, the General Authority for Tourism and the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman.
The first day of the event, which attracts international and regional experts, will include seminars to discuss all aspects of the vital sector.
The exhibition highlights tourism and travel in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, which reports that it received 58.1 million tourists in 2017, up 5 percent from the previous 12 months.
The travel industry in the Middle East has grown tenfold over the past decade, said Simon Bryce, senior manager of the World Travel Market in London.
