Miami police said police were investigating a security concern related to American Airlines Flight 257 to Mexico City.
The airport added in a tweet on Twitter that the plane was evacuated from the passengers.
US Airlines later said the security concern related to flight 257 from Miami to Mexico City was "an unrealistic threat."
