The financial director of Apple-Luca Maestree announced on Thursday a new policy for the company to announce the quarterly sales figures of its most prominent devices.
Maastree said in its latest quarterly sales forecast that Apple will not disclose in the future detailed sales figures for popular devices such as iPhones, iPads, tablets and Mac computers.
The Italian director, who is also vice president of Apple, said sales figures for these products would be treated like smaller products such as the Apple Watch and Earbuds, which are usually listed as "other products."
The latest announcement comes with iPhone sales figures consistently flat throughout the year without any rise, despite a 29% rise in revenue, the Virgin said.
