Leicester and Cardiff City .. Yellow card "inhuman" football match
Leicester City striker Demaray Gray wanted to play a dignified humanitarian gesture after the tragedy that hit the club a few days ago, but he received a "inhumane" penalty from the match.
The owner of the club, Vikay Srivadhanapraba, whose helicopter crashed while leaving the stadium, was killed and four other people were killed.
In Saturday's match, Gray scored the only goal at Cardiff City and then took off his shirt to express his solidarity with the owner of the team. He was wearing a T-shirt that read "For Vicky".
On the other hand, the referee of the meeting did not care about this humanitarian act. He literally applied the law, which punishes every player who takes off his shirt during the game by directing a yellow card.
Media reports said the punishment was "inhuman" and said the player had not intended to "celebrate the goal" as much as he wished to express his condolences to the owner's family.
Leicester fans responded to the verdict on the famous "Vicky One" song, and carried pictures and t-shirts for the deceased.
The Premiership team two years ago traveled to Thailand to take part in the 60-year-old memorial service.
