Ordered the arrest of "Nissan rescuer" Carlos Ghosn

The Japanese authorities plan to order the arrest of Nissan Motors' chairman and chief executive Carlos Ghosn, Bloomberg reported Monday.
Bloomberg was quoted as saying by Japanese sources that Ghosn will be arrested by Tokyo's public prosecution on suspicion of violating Japan's financial trade law.

The Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun said on its website that the Tokyo prosecutor's office is questioning Ghosn and may be arrested very soon and charged.

The newspaper said it was suspected that the chairman of the board of Nissan, has reduced the data of his two entrants.

The prosecutor's office refused to confirm the report, while Nissan did not make any comments.

Ghosn is a businessman of Lebanese origin and holds Brazilian and French citizenship. He was born on March 9, 1954, in the Brazilian city of Porto Valle.

He is currently Chairman and CEO of Nissan Japan and Renault, and Chairman of Mitsubishi Motors.

Ghosn saved Nissan from bankruptcy in 2000 and turned it into profitability within a year, ending $ 20 billion in debt over three years, a task that was then described as impossible.

Today Carlos Ghosn is one of the top 50 men in politics and business.
