Silfi and selfish images .. A study explaining the direct impact

A recent study showed that the excessive use of social media, especially the dissemination of private images and silvio, is linked to increased selfishness in people.
The findings suggest that up to 20 percent of the population can develop with selfish traits associated with overuse of social media, ie, images and video.

The study, carried out by researchers from the University of Swansea, English and Milan, the changes that accompanied 74 people aged between 18 and 34 years for 4 months.

They evaluated the study sample through its use of social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Snapschat applications.

The researchers explained that those who use the means of communication excessively, through the publication of pictures and videos related to them, showed an increase in the qualities of selfishness by 25 percent.

The study also found that those who use the media in the comments written mainly, as with Twitter mostly, did not show these changes.

They pointed out that over time the selfishness of the latter group might develop and that the increase in the publication of written comments meant an increase in the trend toward egoism.

However, the study also revealed that only one person in the sample admitted to using social media at a rate of 3 hours per day, while the majority of the respondents used these methods at an average of 8 hours per day, and for unrelated purposes.

The study found that 60 percent of respondents use Facebook, compared to 25 percent using Instagram and 13 percent using Twitter.

It also showed that more than two-thirds of respondents use these means to publish images related to them.
