World Day for Man - When and Why?

The world celebrates Monday, November 19, and on this day every year, the International Day of the Man, but when did the celebration begin, and why?
In fact, this day's commemoration of man came in order to honor and enhance the role of man in society and to highlight men's contribution to life in the earth as well as to shed light on those men who can spread positive awareness about many issues of concern to men globally.

This day encourages men to engage in discussions and talks, and more openly, on many issues, such as men's mental health, suicide rates and causes, and "the advancement and continuation of life strongly." In short, this day is dedicated to the man who needs support.

Worldwide, for various reasons, it is known that men are the most committed to suicide, especially for those under the age of 45, according to the Kalm charity organization, the acronym for the campaign against miserable life.

In Britain, 84 men commit suicide every week, an average of 12 men a day, according to the British newspaper The Independent.

The average suicide of men in Britain is three times higher than the average suicide rate of women.

The reason for choosing this day is because it coincides with the birthday of the father of Dr. Jerome Tiloxing, the doctor from Trinidad and Tobago, who re-launched the World Day again in 1999.

Although this day has been around for decades, many people do not know or realize that there is a global day for men, while many believe it exists because of the International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8 each year.

On Tuesday, it marks the International Children's Day, which is celebrated by most Arab countries, along with many countries of the world, but some countries celebrate it on other days.
