Photo reveals Putin's secret history
MOSCOW (Reuters) - A card belonging to Russian President Vladimir Putin has been found and reveals part of his secret history while working for the former Soviet intelligence agency KGB, a German newspaper reported on Tuesday.
During the 1980s, Major Vladimir Putin had a special identity card for the East German secret police, the Bild daily reported.
She pointed out that this card was found in the archives of "Stasi", the state security apparatus in the former East Germany.
The card, which was signed with valid seals until the end of 1989, allows Putin to enter and exit the Stasi offices unhindered.
The newspaper published a picture of the card, with a green background, and the name of the city of Dresden, noting that it was found in the files of the offices of Dresden "Stacy" of "cadres and education."
Conrad Wilber, who heads the Dresden branch of the authorities overseeing the archives of Stacey, said identity made recruiting agents easy for Putin, because he was not forced to tell anyone he was working for KGB.
