US police in Florida have foiled a "bloody massacre" that two girls in a school would commit to "get close to the devil," according to their confessions.
Two 11-year-old girls brought a knife cutter and a pizza cutter to school to kill their colleagues, the Daily Mail newspaper quoted police sources as saying on Wednesday.
The two children were charged with conspiring to commit a first-degree murder, possession of a weapon at school and other charges.
The Florida police chief said it was up to the public prosecutor to decide whether the girls would be kept as minors or adults, and said they had been sent to a juvenile prison.
The two girls were planning to monitor young schoolchildren in order to slaughter, cut their bodies, eat their meat, and drink their blood with a specially brought trophy.
"The bloody plan was to kill at least one pupil, but the girls were hoping to kill 15 to 25 students" before committing suicide, the police statement said.
The police attributed the girls' desire to kill as many students as possible to their desire to be "very wrong" to be with the devil in hell after committing suicide after the execution of their bloody massacre.
