Arrest of "frantic" planned attacks in Moscow

The Russian authorities announced on Friday the arrest of six members of a cell belonging to the organization calling the terrorist, who was planning attacks in the capital Moscow.
Russian news agencies quoted the Russian Federal Security Service as saying in a statement that the group had planned to use rifles and improvised explosive devices in their attacks, Reuters reported.

The cell explained that the cell was receiving guidance from members of the Dahesh in Syria.

Russia suffered several attacks, most notably in April 2017 St. Petersburg Metro, killing 14 people.

At the end of December, the Russian security services dismantled a cell of a sympathetic organization in St. Petersburg and arrested several members of the extremist organization.
