Hamilton wins fifth title in Formula 1

LONDON (Reuters) - Lewis Hamilton won his fifth title at the Formula One World Grand Prix two days before the Mexican Grand Prix, which Max Frestaben won with Red Bull for the second consecutive year.
Hamilton, who beat Argentine Juan Manuel Fangio with five titles and only seven with Michael Schumacher, finished fourth and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel came in second.

The 33-year-old Hamilton needed only seventh place in the Hermannos Rodriguez circuit to secure the title while Vettel had four titles to win in Mexico to keep his hopes slim.
