Monster "Vincent" on his way to the coast of Mexico
"The tropical storm Vincent was formed off southern Mexico on Saturday heading for the west coast of the country, but it is not expected to increase its strength slightly over the next two days," the US National Hurricane Center said on Sunday.
The storm is currently about 201 km southeast of the port of Salina Cruz, which has a huge refinery owned by the national oil company Pemex, stirring winds of a top speed of 80 kilometers per hour. According to Reuters.
The storm was moving at a speed of 14 kilometers to the west, and is expected to turn northwestward, in the coming days heading for the states of Guerrero and Michoacan.
