A US $ 1.6 billion lottery prize, the highest lottery award in the world, has not been awarded to any winner, officials said.
The draw will be held next Tuesday, with no one winning the figures 15, 23, 53, 65, 70 and Big Ball No. 7 during the draw on Friday evening.
If a player wins the previous six figures, he can choose between receiving an instant cash prize of $ 904 million or a $ 1.6 billion prize paid over 29 years.
Seth Elkin, spokesman for the Mega Millions award, said the award exceeded the $ 1.586 billion Powerball Award paid in 2016.
The biggest prize in the history of the $ 656 million Mega Millions lottery was in 2012.
The Mega Millions tickets are sold in 44 states as well as Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands.
