Saudi Finance Minister: Our oil revenue increased 48 percent
Saudi Arabia's non-oil revenues rose 48 percent year-on-year in the third quarter to 211 billion riyals ($ 56.25 billion), the finance minister said on Thursday.
Speaking on the third day of the "Future Investment Initiative" held in Riyadh, Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan reported spending increased by 25 percent in the third quarter.
He stressed that the programs of financial balance are related to sustainability and it is really important to maintain the balance in the medium term and be flexible.
He explained that the preliminary declaration of the budget issued a few weeks allowed the private sector to plan without interruption.
The first discussions were held on the third and final day of the initiative, with a session entitled "Financial Balance", which was attended by the Minister of Finance of Bahrain Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Al Jadaan.
