The New York Police Bomb Squad has moved a suspicious package from a Manhattan building in connection with the famous American actor Robert De Niro.
A source for the law enforcement told the Associated Press that the device found on Thursday appeared to be linked to other packages sent to Democratic Party figures and CNN offices in New York.
The parcel is similar to other packages, and the same type of explosive device, according to the source.
The device was taken from 375 Greenwich Street in the Tribeca district at around 6:30 am on Thursday, police said.
A spokesman said that the police, summoned after a report of the existence of a suspicious parcel of the site at about five in the morning.
