The UAE is the first Arab and 27 globally in the report "Davos"
The UAE ranked first in the Arab world and 27th in the World Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum Davos 2018.
The new Global Competitiveness Report, which includes 140 countries, focuses on the fourth industrial revolution, innovation, and concepts of the new knowledge economy.
The report classified the UAE as one of the most important global economies due to the ongoing economic improvements launched by the government. Both the Value Added Tax Law, which was enacted earlier this year, and the Bankruptcy Law, enacted last year, On the list of the best in the Arab region.
In this year's report, the UAE has achieved the highest rankings in terms of four sub-indices: the "annual lack of change in inflation" index, the "debt dynamics" indicator, the "mobile Internet subscriptions" index and the " Electricity from the population ratio ".
The UAE ranked second in the world in terms of "mobile phone subscriptions per 100 inhabitants" and the third in the index of the "low burden of government procedures" and the "impact of taxes and subsidies on commercial competition" "He said.
