A picture of a surly child, a pizza pie and empty seats spread to the social media because of her touching story that aroused the sympathy of the public and some celebrities.
An American mother published a picture of her child, Teddy Mazini, who looks sad when 32 of his school colleagues fail to attend his sixth birthday party.
Teddy, who lives in Towson, Arizona, looked sad and sat at a long table in a pizza restaurant. Christmas dishes appeared on the table, but the seats were all empty.
"Some people have apologized for coming, but everyone has not come," said Ted Mazini, Teddy's mother, on the Facebook site.
The picture was widely disseminated in social media, and there were some reactions from celebrities.
The Phoenix Suns decided to invite Teddy to attend a league match to celebrate his birthday.
The producer of the famous DJ Khaled also sent his wishes to the little boy for a happy birthday on the Ingram site, where he wrote in a publication: "Every year you are fine, King Teddy."
In spite of the sympathetic reactions, the mother of the child confirmed that she regretted the most regrettable publication of the picture, and exposing her son to this "undesirable" fame at this young age.
