The same sources added that the picture that was circulated on social networking sites as the body was false.

Earlier on Tuesday, Sky News quoted unnamed sources as saying parts of the body of Saudi journalist and writer Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed at his consulate in Istanbul, were found on October 2, Present.

Sources revealed to Sky News that the remains of Khashoggi's body were discovered in the garden of the house of the Saudi consul Mohammed al-Otaibi, noting that Khashoggi's body was "cut" and his face "distorted".

This comes after a speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday on the issue of Khashoggi's death. "Where is the body of this person who officially confessed to killing him?"

The Turkish president stressed that his country has "strong evidence" that this crime is planned and not an immediate operation, asking for the accounting of planners and implementers.

Last week, searches were conducted inside the house of the Saudi consul in Istanbul, about nine hours after the start of the investigation. The interrogators came out with a collection of boxes and bags.

Khashoggi, 59, after entering his consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, disappeared on October 2 to obtain documents for his prospective marriage.

Eighteen days after his disappearance, Riyadh admitted on Friday night that Khashoggi had been killed in his consulate in Istanbul after a "quarrel" with Saudi officials. She said she had arrested 18 Saudi men in connection with the incident.
