Putin is discussing with Bolton issues of strategic security and bilateral relations
Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President George W. Bush's national security adviser will discuss bilateral relations, Syria, regional conflicts and strategic security during their meeting today, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

More importantly, Bolton and his colleagues from the Russian side will tell the president about their discussions yesterday and today, "Piskov told reporters in response to a question on the topics of the Putin-Bolton meeting on Tuesday.
Putin will meet Bolton on Tuesday.
On Monday, Bolton met Russian President Nikolai Patrushev and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, including Syria, Ukraine, Afghanistan and the Treaty on the Elimination of Medium- and Short-Range Missiles. He also met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
