A precedent in history .. Merkel in the footsteps of Hitler

Angela Merkel, the first German chancellor since Adolf Hitler, will visit the remains of a train that witnessed the signing of the truce to end the First World War.
Hitler had gone there to avenge in 1940, while Merkel planned to go there on behalf of peace on a visit that would stand next to French President Emmanuel Macaron.

On an unusual journey the wagon 2419d, from the dinner of the passengers in Deauville, turned into a world peace on 11 November 1918.

The train, located in a forest in northern France, was used to sign the surrender of Germany, since the official headquarters of the Allied commander had been attacked by a German.

To the crowds of French mourners in the post-war years, the train carriage turned into a shrine for peace and purification, and turned into a museum.
