"Rake of a Dancer" divide the Americans .. and make a fuss
One of the dancers in an American football match made a fuss in the United States after sitting on her knees in a kneeling position while playing the national anthem before a match.
The 24-year-old Kayla Maurice wanted to show her opposition to violent police behavior toward African-Americans when she "knelt" during the national anthem, contrary to the custom of standing, during San Francisco's 49th game against Oakland Reds.
Kaila's intercept was a great interaction among tens of thousands of users in the United States, causing the fans to split between fans of her courage to express her opinion and demanding that her services be terminated after showing "lack of respect" for the national anthem.
"They fired it, they could be replaced," said others. "As a fighter, I encourage her right to do this."
San Francisco 49 refused to comment on the incident. The girl in the club's clothes and logo is not an employee but another.
"I think she is very brave and her behavior has been met with love and respect," said her former colleague Kayla Roussel, speaking to the Daily Mail newspaper.
"If I were to continue the profession for 100 percent support, I am happy to be a former colleague and I hope the audience will give it a similar level of love and support."
Kaila Morris is not the first to express her protest in this way. The first case of "Rakoa" during a US football match in 2016 is against discrimination against minorities, especially blacks and police violence. The matter rejects this behavior.
The National Football Association announced in May that the players had to stand or stay in their rooms while playing the national anthem, but later retracted it and kept it pending.
