Tunisia's Esperance managed to make up for their loss to Al Ahli of Egypt and scored a clean hat-trick for the third time in their history on Friday.
Al-Kahri won a 3-1 win a week ago in Egypt during a meeting that sparked wide-ranging arbitration.
Esperance has settled the Rades stadium, which has suffered four defeats during the last four meetings of Al Ahli in the African Championships.
Esperance crowned the third African title in their history, denying Ahli from boosting his record of 8 tournaments.
Saad Baqir scored two goals for Al-Tarjee, one before seconds from the end of the first half and the other at the start of the second half, before leaving the field with injury.
Anis Al Badri finished with a powerful shot in the final minutes, and Al Ahly goalkeeper Mohammed Al Shennawi was in the net.
Ahli did not pose a threat to his opponent throughout the meeting, and appeared to be affected by the absence of Moroccan striker Walid Azaro to stop, to fail in the culmination of the second final in a row.
Following his inauguration, Esperance will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in the UAE.
