We know a lot about Roger Federer, especially about his achievements at the level of the game or his profits from this game and sponsorship contracts.
But we do not know much about his family or about his personal life, except that he is married and has four sons: Mila Rose, Charlene Riva, Leo and Lennart, and his wife is the former tennis player Merka Vavrinch, known at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He married her in 2009.
But, despite more than nine years of marriage, Federer refuses to sleep without his wife, even if he competes in a tournament away from home.
Merka and his four children appear to be accompanying the 37-year-old Federer on his sports trips, which have forced him to leave his home most of the year.
