Found the "lost city" in Greece
After years of drilling and excavation, archaeologists in Greece have found evidence about a city founded by survivors of the Trojan War, mentioned in ancient texts.
The Greek Ministry of Culture said on Tuesday that researchers found the effects of settlement, and dozens of rare coins, which is likely to be the location of the explorer for the city of "Tenia," according to the site "Deutsche Welle" German.
"Excavations in southern Greece in the Peloponnese region are evidence of the existence of the old city," the ministry said in a statement.
The list of objects found on the site included paved roads, stone and marble structures, tombs containing jewelry and vases, as well as the remains of two human embryos, on the foundations of a building.
It is believed that the city of "Tenya" was founded by the Trojans who were taken prisoner during the war of the twelfth or thirteenth century BC.
To this day, there is no scientific evidence of the existence of this city, which is mentioned in ancient texts only.
