Germany .. Military equipment "under maintenance" and army is not ready for war

The presence of Germany among the European countries does not reflect on its military strength, which has recently been reported to be in a state of "total chaos" that does not prepare it to respond to a military appeal in sufficient time.
A report released by the German Defense Ministry said only 39 percent of the weapons the German army recently added to its ammunition were ready for immediate military use, Deutsche Welle newspaper reported.

The most alarming military equipment is the Airbus A400M aircraft carrier and Puma tanks, which were manufactured in Germany, the report said.

To date, only half of the aircraft carriers, 27 out of 71 tanks, 7 out of 7 helicopters and 4 out of 7 NH-90 helicopters have been equipped.

The head of the German leftist party, Matthias Hoon, denounced the German government's neglect of the weapons industry and its waste of the people's money.

A US report last year revealed that Germany needs at least a month to mobilize and send its military strength to the Baltic region in the event of a Russian invasion.

Earlier this year, a report from the German parliament confirmed that neither submarines nor air transport aircraft were ready for military use because they were "under maintenance".
