"Fast lunch" between Putin and Trump in Paris

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump will meet for a quick lunch at the Elysee Palace in Paris on Nov. 11, the Kremlin said on Wednesday.
Putin and Trump are expected to meet longer for more inclusive talks at the G20 summit in Argentina by the end of the month, Kremlin aide Yuri Oshakov said.

Trump and Putin will travel to Paris on November 11 to attend the anniversary of the end of the First World War, with more than 60 heads of state and government attending.

Trump and Bhutan had their first bilateral summit in Helsinki in July. Trump was then severely criticized in his country, which he was very lenient with his Russian counterpart.

On Monday and Tuesday, Bolton met senior Russian officials before Putin met him.

His visit comes after Trump announced the United States' intention to withdraw from the medium-range nuclear weapons treaty with the former Soviet Union during the Cold War.
