Mourinho: The best goalkeeper in the world should stay with us

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho described goalkeeper David Deja as the best goalkeeper in the world.
He said the Spanish player wanted to stay at Old Trafford after saving an amazing opportunity that helped the England team qualify for the Champions League round of 16.

After winning 1-0 in injury time at Young Boys at Old Trafford in Group H, Mourinho stressed it was important for United to keep Spain's 28-year-old goalkeeper.

"He is the best goalkeeper in the world," said Mourinho, "Our ambition is to have the best in the world and to keep it."

"I know he wants to stay, and I know that his agent (Georgi Mendez) is happy with what the player wants, and I also know that the administration wants to continue and work on it, so I hope to reach a result sooner or later."

De Chaya was in the spotlight for the end of his contract with United this season. He is negotiating with United on a new agreement and has the right to extend the contract for another season.
