Portugal move Italy to the final of the European Nations

Portugal became the first European champions to reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after a 0-0 draw at home to Italy to top the Group C.
Italy took control of the first hour and goalkeeper Roy Patricio saved his team Portugal, removing two chances from Chiro Imobili when the Lazio striker was close to scoring. He also took a header from Lorentzio Pellegrini in stoppage time.

Portugal have seven points from three games, two points ahead of Italy, which ended their matches. Poland, who are home to Portugal at the end of the Group games on Tuesday, have a one-point lead.

This is the second time in a year that a draw in San Siro has disappointed Italy, with Sweden in the World Cup qualifiers in November.
