Rihanna asks Trump to stop using her songs for electoral purposes

The list of artists and production companies provoked by US President Donald Trump has been growing longer as singer Rihanna joined the list by asking the president to stop using her songs in campaign-related events.
"It has been said a million times, but to make it a million and one, the Trump rallies are not like anything else in politics," said Philip Rucker, the head of the Washington Post's White House office.

"At the moment, Rihanna's" Please Do not Stop The Music "is playing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where free Trump shirts are thrown at the audience, like a football match.

"For a long time, neither I nor any of my group will be in or near one of these tragic events, so thank you Phillip for my information," Rihanna said.

This comes after the young singer announced her support for Andrew Gillum, a Democrat from Florida, a candidate for governor and in the case of winning, could be one of the characters who will play a big role in the 2020 election.

More recently, Trump has provoked many artists, most recently the singer Farrell Williams, the song "Happy", which speaks of happiness and gained popularity in 2013.

Farrell, Trump, legally demanded that the song not be used, after the president used it during an event just hours after the Pennsylvania attack.

Trump, meanwhile, has promoted his country's sanctions on Iran, through a poster in the form of the famous "Game of Thrones" poster, with the words "Sanctions coming," in the same way as "Winter is Coming".

"We were not aware of this message, and we prefer not to use our brand for political purposes," she said.
