Ronaldo is out of the Portuguese squad

Cristiano Ronaldo has left Juventus out of Portugal's squad for Thursday's World Cup qualifier against Italy and Poland.
The 33-year-old Ronaldo missed the team following the exit of the 2018 World Cup in Russia by Uruguay (1-2).

The justification for his absence from the first two matches after the World Cup was his need to focus on adapting to Juventus, who joined Real Madrid this summer for a meeting of about 100 million euros.

"The only thing I can say is that it is worth the gold ball," French football magazine France Football announced next month for the best football player in the world, and Ronaldo received five times last year.

The Portuguese are preparing to play two games this month in the European Nations Cup, the first against Italy in Milan on 17 November, and the second against the home of Poland in Guimaraes on 20.
