Rushford turns the table and gives United a win at a time of a killer
Substitute Markus Rushford shook the net in stoppage time, turning Manchester United back to a 2-1 win at home to Bournemouth on Saturday and drawing close to the English Premier League semi-final.
Kalom Wilson gave Bournemouth the lead in the 11th minute, but dropped to defense after the brilliant Anthony Marciel equalized for the fifth goal in the last four games in the 35th minute, and completed the return of Rashford in the near future.
Bournemouth squandered three chances after a poor defense from United, before Wilson delighted the fans of the stadium when he turned a neat low pass from Junior Stanislas into the net.
Marceli equalized with a powerful 11-meter shot after good work from Ashley Yang and Alexis Sanchez, who scored four successive Premier League matches for the first time in his career.
With Brazilian striker Romilo Lucaco excluded from the match, Marcial managed to fill the gap in the second half, pushing United after Andir Herrera and Rashford instead of Juan Mata and Brazilian Fred.
The visiting team wasted several chances after the break. When Bournemouth seemed to hold on, Rushford dominated Paul Bjumpa's cross with his own chest before setting it up against goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
