Shooting and Suicide .. 6 attacks hit California in 18 months

In 18 months, California has seen six major attacks by people with no criminal record, and four of them have committed suicide, after many lives have been lost.
On Wednesday, a masked gunman wearing black clothes opened fire in a nightclub in southern California, killing 12 people and fleeing hundreds of others, before committing suicide.

Authorities said the suspect was Ian David Long, a 28-year-old Marine who had been investigating the motive for the attack.

In addition to Wednesday's attack, coupled with the attacker's suicide, we list five previous similar attacks in California, where the attacker committed suicide in three of them.

Attack on YouTube HQ

A woman fired at Google's headquarters in northern California, killing three people before committing suicide.

Local media said Naseem Ajdeen, a 39-year-old animal rights activist, objected to YouTube's policy of publishing videos and had her own channel on the site.

She complained more than once about the small amounts she gets for the videos.

Sacramento School Incident

Four people and an armed man were killed on November 13, 2017, in a random shootout that ended in a school in a remote northern California area.

The law enforcement officers shot and killed the shooter, Kevin Jenson Neil, who was among five people killed in the shooting, which included about seven other sites, according to the Guardian Journal.

The shooting began in a house and ended at Rancho Tehama School near the northern town of Corning.

San Francisco Massacre

Jimmy Lamm, a postal service employee, killed three co-workers and wounded two others at a parcels warehouse in San Francisco on June 14, 2017. The attacker committed suicide before the police arrested him.

Working conditions and long hours were the motive for the attack, which worked for 18 years at UPS.

The Frenzy Incest

On April 18, 2017, police arrested the suspect, Corrie Ali Mohamed, 39, after a series of killings in Fresno, California, motivated by racial hatred against whites.

Five days before his arrest, Mohammed killed an unarmed security guard in a small inn, hiding for several days, while the police announced a chase.

On the morning of April 18, the attacker continued his crimes, killing one passenger in an oil truck and shooting several other pedestrians and drivers, killing two Caucasian men who were walking outside the building of the Catholic Charitable Society.

North Park Primary School

On April 10, 2017, Cedric Anderson, a troubled man with a history of domestic violence, arrived at a primary school in San Bernardino, California, on the pretext of visiting a teacher.

After entering the classroom, the gunman opened fire on the shooting trainer Karen Smith, who stood in front of her students with special needs in an attempt to protect her.

One of the students hiding behind Smith, Jonathan Martins, aged 8, died of his wounds, while the second, Nolan Brady (9), was seriously injured.

The attacker ultimately committed suicide before the police could arrest him.
