A mechanical problem caused a US Navy aircraft crash while conducting routine operations in the Philippine Sea.
"No one was hurt as a result and the crew was recovering immediately and safely," said a statement from the US Navy's 7th Fleet.
"Both pilots are in good shape," the statement said. The incident is under investigation.
