Warning: harmful bacteria in the "shower shower"


A recent study conducted in the United States and 13 European countries found that there are certain bacteria that are more concentrated than others in shower showers, indicating that they cause many infectious diseases.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, the most common bacteria are "Mycobacterium fungus or Mycobacterium", which causes several infectious diseases, including tuberculosis.

The study sought to know the bacteria in the shower that reach human heads, so samples of 656 home showers were taken in the states and Europe.

The researchers analyzed samples of the DNA found in those samples, noting that mycobacterium bacteria are present in American cities more than their European counterparts.

They said that these harmful bacteria in water taps provided by municipalities more than those coming from wells, which are common in high temperature geographically, where certain types of lung diseases caused by these bacteria.

"There is a thriving world of bacteria in the shower and falling off your head," one researcher said.

He added that most of these bacteria are harmless, but a few of them are harmful, pointing out that this type of research helps in dealing with how to deal with systems that provide homes with water.

The study was published in the American journal Amphio, published by the American Microbiological Society and the American Academy of Microbiology.
