Zidane is approaching an unexpected destination

Having been associated with Manchester United for months, it seems that French coach Zinedine Zidane will settle in another unexpected destination.
The German newspaper Sun reported that Bayern Munich, a local flop, plans to sign the French football legend as successor to current coach Niko Kovac.

The Bavarian club has a difficult time under Kovac, finishing fifth in the Bundesliga this season, after losing their traditional rivals Borussia Dortmund this week.

Sun said the Bavarian club saw Bezidane as "the most suitable caliph" for his ability to control the pace of the players, especially after the great achievements he made with Real Madrid over the course of 3 years.

At the end of last season, Zidane suddenly decided to leave the club after leading him to a historic achievement in the Champions League trophy 3 consecutive times.

The Red Devils were looking to win Zidane to replace Jose Mourinho, who is likely to be sacked if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League next season.
