Phone, charger and water .. "Triangle of Danger" causes disaster for a Russian heroine

A teenage Russian sports hero died of electric shock after her phone, which was connected to his truck, fell into the water during her shower.
The 15-year-old Russian martial arts hero Irena Rebnikova died in a tragic accident on Saturday, the Daily Mail reported.

Irina's relatives said she had her "iPhone" phone dropped during her shower, after bringing it to the shipper, at her home in Bratsk, Siberia.

Irina's relatives found the girl dead in the bathroom.

"Water is a good conductor of the current, so a short circuit was formed when the phone fell into the water," said Yuri Agravonov, head of electricity at Irkutsk State University.

"If the phone is not connected to a 220 volt electric current, this tragedy will not happen."

The late teenager was one of boxing champions who grew up in ancient Greece. She won the Russian championship two months ago and was then chosen to represent her country.

"A tragic accident has caused the death of our heroine, friend, colleague and pupil Irina," the sports association said in a statement.

"Our hearts were broken, it was very quiet, the house was a little uninhabited," said one of her friends, "she was dreaming of becoming the world champion," while her sister Tatiana, 25, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
