Recent figures show that suicide rates among US servicemen are on record highs last year, amid fears that the phenomenon will worsen in the future.
According to Business Insider, 286 servicemen in the service the US Army put an end to their lives in 2018, not including those who committed suicide in the last quarter of last year.
The source said that the number of suicide bombers in the US military in only 9 months of the year, the highest in 6 years.
