A mysterious "cloud feather" in Mars raises the curiosity of scientists

Astronomers have tracked a large, cloud-like cloud on Mars, amid questions about whether it is a volcanic activity on the Red Planet.
According to the newspaper "Daily Mail" British, the length of the cloud up to 1500 kilometers, and began this "badminton" in the formation near the point of volcano, an empty, up to 20 kilometers.

The researchers note that the cloud is not the impact of the volcano. The area where the "feather" has been observed has not recorded any volcanic activity for 50 million years.

The European Space Agency (ESA) mission has been keeping pace with the phenomenon since September 13 to determine the exact characteristics of the cloud.

The European agency pointed out that it is a water cloud, and explained that the ice is strongly affected by the amount of dust that rises in the air.

The images were obtained after a major dust storm that spread all over the Red Planet and greatly affected the vision.

The latest discovery allows scientists to learn about the role of dust storms in the formation and development of clouds.
