Denmark accuses Iran of planning to target people in its capital

Danish security services on Tuesday speculated that Iranian intelligence had attempted to attack individuals in Copenhagen.
The head of the Danish security service, Finn Burke Andersen, told a news conference that the attack targeted a Danish branch leader of the Arab Liberation Movement of Ahwaz.

He said the Danish security forces arrested a Norwegian citizen of Iranian origin on October 21, believed to be linked to a possible attack, according to Reuters.

In turn, confirmed the Norwegian police, it is cooperating with Denmark in the investigation of possible attacks.

Danish Foreign Minister Martin Ledgard commented on the report of the security services, saying that his country is discussing with European countries ways to take additional action in response to the plan of the Iranian attack. "We will respond to the Iranian attempt," he said.
