GBPUSD is the biggest loss in two and a half weeks
The British pound fell below $ 1.30 on Monday for the first time in more than two and a half weeks to continue its losses after Irish party statements on London's exit from the European Union.
The deputy head of the political section of the newspaper "Telegraph", the Unionist Democratic Party of Northern Ireland, will support an amendment to the departure of Britain from the European Union raised by parliamentarians who are skeptical about the euro.
Sterling fell half a percent against the dollar to $ 1.2985, while 0.4 percent fell against the euro, trading at 88.47 pence.
The Irish Northern Party, which supports British Prime Minister Theresa May, is expected to support an amendment proposed by pro-secessionist projects that would make the European Union's proposal on the Irish border illegal.
May is due to address parliament later on Monday.
